Terms for using JUZZ
By accessing JUZZ, you agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
JUZZ provides browser-based access to Quran recitation, verse text, translation, reciter selection, favourites, recent listening, ayah-by-ayah Quran progress, and optional Google sign-in through Neon Auth. Listening remains available without an account. Features may change, be corrected, or be discontinued.
Accounts and sessions
If you sign in, you are responsible for your Google account security and for signing out on shared devices. Do not attempt to access another person’s session. On sign-in, JUZZ merges supported guest data with existing account state using set union, latest-position, and maximum-count rules.
Public profiles
You may create a shareable profile with a username, optional picture, join date, and activity totals. You control whether it is public or private. Do not use usernames or images that impersonate others, violate rights, or contain abusive or unlawful material.
Acceptable use
You may use JUZZ for personal listening, study, and other lawful purposes. You must not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse provider infrastructure, misrepresent JUZZ, remove attribution from third-party material, or use automated traffic in a way that harms availability.
Quran text, translations, audio, and portraits
Some content is supplied by third parties and remains subject to its source terms and rights. JUZZ does not claim ownership of third-party Quran audio, translations, or reciter portraits. See Sources & accuracy.
Downloads
Where JUZZ exposes a download action, availability does not grant additional ownership rights. You are responsible for following the relevant source licence, local law, and any limitations on redistribution or commercial use.
Accuracy and religious use
JUZZ takes accuracy seriously, but software, metadata, translations, timings, and network-delivered content can contain errors. Verify important quotations, recitation details, and religious questions with an authoritative mushaf and qualified scholar.
Availability and warranties
JUZZ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free playback, permanent storage, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use JUZZ or its third-party services.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product and legal requirements evolve. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Support
Questions about these terms can be sent through the official JUZZ support channels.
