Privacy without an account

Optional account information

If you sign in with Google, Neon’s Better Auth stores your user id, name, email and profile picture, plus session records. Your public profile (username, picture, join date, activity totals, privacy setting) lives in Neon’s database. Google handles the sign-in prompt under its own policy, and nothing is created until you choose to sign in.

Information stored on your device

Your browser keeps your theme, chosen reciter, favourites, recents, playback position and ayah progress in local storage. For guests it never leaves the device. After sign-in a copy is merged into your account so another device can pick up where you left off.

Network requests and service providers

To work at all, your browser talks to:

• Vercel for hosting.
• Neon for the database and optional sign-in.
• Google only when you sign in.
• EveryAyah for ayah-by-ayah audio.
• AlQuran.Cloud for the Arabic text and the Sahih International translation.

They see the usual web-request basics (IP, browser, what was asked for) under their own policies.

Cookies and analytics

No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no marketing cookies. Sign-in uses only the session cookies Neon Auth needs.

Sharing and selling

I do not sell personal information and I do not build advertising profiles. Account data is processed only by the providers above, and your public profile is visible only while its privacy setting is off.

Your choices

Clear JUZZ data any time from your browser’s site settings. Sign out from the login page. Flip your profile to private whenever you like. For deletion or privacy requests, use the contact page. Blocking storage means favourites and progress will not stick.

Children

JUZZ is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect anything from children.

Changes and questions

If this page changes in a material way, the date at the top moves. Questions: @JuzzQuran on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Those are third-party platforms, so keep sensitive details out of them.
